E-Commerce Developer - Birmingham - Permanent £28,000 - £35,000 Excellent Benefits.Our exciting end user manufacturing/retail client is looking to hire an experienced E-Commerce website developer .
Daily tasks.
*You will be required to take a visual provided by our Graphics department (often in PhotoShop PSD format) and turn this into cross-browser and cross-device compatible HTML, CSS and JavaScript (jQuery knowledge is a must)
*You will be required to program in PHP and write the additional front-end elements and back end modules
*Your code will interface with a SQL database.
*Magento Experience is recommended but e-commerce experience is a must
*Demonstrate experience of responsive designs
*Able to develop payment gateways is an advantage
Skills required
*Excellent programming skills in core PHP
*Object Oriented Application Design, OOP PHP, and any PHP MVC framework
*MySQL or other relational database systems
*Javascript mainly Jquery.
*Knowledge of extending PHP frameworks by conforming to coding standards
*Existing knowledge of linux server management is an advantage
*Experience of version control is a must
