Code Red Associates are a specialist supplier of resource to the public sector, local authority & social housing sectors. We are currently looking for an experienced Revenue/Council Tax Officer to work on an initial 3 month contract basis for a respected organisation with offices in Central London.
The main purpose of the role will be to work as part of the Revenues Team providing support specifically in relation to Council Tax. You will need to already be working at a similar capacity, and have an excellent understanding of the current legislations in place in this area, and of course have excellent customer service and communication skills.
Essential skills
Recent experience in a similar post
An excellent understanding of current legislations surrounding council tax
Experience with revenue software systems such as Northgate/iWorld, Capita Academy, IBS/Civica OPENRevenues, and Pericles etc.
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Both strong written & oral communication capabilities
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who is able to take appropriate action without hesitation.
