Description
Resource 1 is in need of a Sr. QA Analyst for a 6-month contract in Chicago (walking distance from the train).
Individual will design, create, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts related to the Data Integration platform and Data Integration business rules. Individual must have an understanding of data flow, parsing, ingress, and egress. Individual will be implementing automation testing/frameworks in the environment, as they are currently all manual, so experience building automation frameworks and writing/executing scripts within an existing framework is desired.
Automated test scripts will be written in Perl, Shell Scripting, or PowerShell Scripting. Individual will also be testing XML data coming in from their website, so web/XML data testing is required, along with testing healthcare file types (837, HL7, etc.). Candidate should have manual and automation testing experience with an emphasis on data integration.
Ideal candidate would have 9 years of overall QA experience and 3-5 years experience in data testing with proficiency in SQL testing tools. Experience with Web Services or SoapUI are plusses. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills and adaptability, and must be able to take initiative. Should also possess leadership qualities for future growth potential to lead role.
