Description
Empiric have been retained by a global retail client to search for an urgent requirement for an ATG Developer to work on a large retail project in Sweden. You will become an indispensable project resource and be part of product implementation, enhancement, integration and audit projects. Your primary purpose will be to provide expertise, guidance and leadership on technical matters to the project team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead technical designs
- Provide technical leadership to developers; review technical design documents and conduct code reviews, conduct technology workshops with customers, when appropriate
- Coach and mentor others in customization, the software development life cycle, and other core technical skills and knowledge
Experience needed:
- 5 + years of relevant technical experience
- Experience in Senior Engineering, technical leadership role, providing mentoring to others
- Proven experience of architecture or delivery of Internet scale Web Commerce implementations (Oracle Commerce -Endeca, ATG, Hybris, IBM WebSphere Commerce etc.) desirable
- Application Servers, JBOSS, WebLogic
- WebServers (Apache) is a must; mod_proxy, mod_ssl, mod_jk is a plus
