Looking for Scala Developer
Telecom exp is an advantage.
- 3 -5 years Experience in Scala development.
- Experience with Scala in a production environment is preferred.
- Experience with the Akka, Cats or Spray libraries is preferred.
- Experience with tools including Scala.js, Grunt, Bower, Liftweb
- Experience and understanding of a wide range of client-side technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, etc.
- Experience with API Design, ability to architect and implement an intuitive customer and third-party integration story
- Ability to think and analyze both breadth-wise (client, server, DB, control flow) and depth-wise (threads, sessions, space-time complexity) while designing and implementing services
- Good design and architectural skills.
- Highly motivated, works well in a fast paced collaborative team environment
Essential Functions
- Completes product technical design and prototyping, software development, bug verification and resolution.
- Performs system analysis and programming activities which may require research.
- Provides technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery until the retirement of the application.
- Provides reasonable task and project effort estimates.
- Ensures timely, effective, and quality delivery of software into production.
- Develops and tests applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.
- Creates required technical documentation.
- Adheres to documented departmental and corporate standards.
- Collaboratively works with QA team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Collaboratively works with customer support team to resolve or diagnose defects.
