Geodata Technician

Brief Overview

My client, based in Yorkshire, is currently seeking a Geodata Technician. Ideally you will be a Geomatics Graduate or have some experience commercially processing data in a similar environment (Survey, GPS, Navigation etc).

The role is part field based and part office based. So you must be happy to travel when required (expenses paid).

The role involves:

  • Processing of geospatial data captured in the field
  • Processing navigation files
  • Processing of imagery/LiDAR
  • troubleshooting and calibration of sensors

You must be a good communicator, problem solver and an effective decision maker. You must be happy working in a field based role and also to undertake travel as part of the role. Driving licence required.

Other Information

This role is to start immediately and is for an initial 6-month period with a view to possible extension.
