I am looking for a Senior Android and Graphics Engineer to contribute to the development of Android Graphics components used on mobile devices.
You will take senior technical responsibility for the tasks allocated and provide technical authority in one or more technical skill areas within the team.
You will also be responsible for performing all, or part, of the software development cycle.
An important part of the job will be offering advice on and helping to incubate new projects, which may involve feasibility, design and prototyping work across the complete range of software platforms and applications used by my client, its suppliers and customers.
To be considered for this role your skill set and experience should cover:
* A proven track record in Real Time Embedded software development preferably for mobile devices with an understanding of the Embedded development environments and associated development restrictions.
* Good knowledge of Android platform. Experience on application development and Application Framework on Android.
* Proficiency in Java and one or more of the C, C++ programming languages
* Expertise in Graphics and familiar with the use of 3D Graphics technologies used in creation of visual effects for application development, in particular, OpenGL would be amazing.
* Experience in software testing and debugging techniques on Embedded targets and in the use software debugging tools and basic laboratory equipment.
