UI Designer/Front End Developer (Junior)
Whitehall resources are currently recruiting for a UI Designer/Front End Developer (Junior) for our client in France.

Requested Profile:
- 3+ years experience as UI designer and Front End developer.
- Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator experience is a must
- Responsive design & coding
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CC3, LESS
- Knowledge of FreeMarker template and JavaScript will be appreciated
- Significant formal education in a related field is a plus.
- Demonstrated proficiency in several areas of the professional function.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Being passionate about simple design and well aware of technical feasibility
- Keep up to date with new developments in relevant design, technology, standards and best practice
- Sense of humour, while not required, is highly desired
- Fluent in English
Scope:
- Create effective, engaging designs that support business objectives, adhere to established brand guidelines and meet legal requirements, with minimal direction.
- Work closely with your production team (developer & merchandiser) to test new designs, site updates and debugging.
- Assist with site production as needed focusing on major layout and site flow updates.
- Guide the design vision for online marketing vehicles
- Work with marketing and creative team on how to continually improve the effectiveness of promotions while respecting the brand image
- Choose and decline visuals (immersive background, advertising background, relay)
- Iterate through product updates
- Working understanding visual design, Front End development (HTML5/LESS/framework) and dynamically generated websites
- Ability to work with minimal management on multiple projects, being autonomous.
