My client is urgently recruiting for a Full Stack Developer to work on a high profile Government Project. You'll be required to provide cover within a feature team that is developing several different data, web, and API, based applications and services. The Data Quality capability is a service that provides reporting and analytics on Advance Passenger Information and other Aviation based data sets to my client
Essential skills and experience
* Experience of delivering data driven web applications using node.js and python
* Knowledge and experience of agile software delivery and DevOps, particularly: User story creation and management, Source control (using Git), TDD/BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Documentation, Continuous Deployment
* Experience of multiple RDBMS (Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL technologies
* Experience of Containerised applications using Docker & Kubernetes
* Proven skills in developing and supporting RESTful API's
* Ability to develop data models for web based applications
* Experienced in meeting the Government's Digital Service Standards
* Proven skills in securing web API's, with appropriate authentication and authorisation routines
* Experience in using Message Queues in a micro services architecture
Desirable skills
* Airline domain knowledge
* Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) database systems
* Operating services in an AWS Cloud-hosted environment
