Quantitative Analyst Junior wanted for our Zurich based client in the finance sector.Your experience/skills:
- University Degree/Fresh graduate in Finance, Science, Statistics or Engineering with strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in R-studio and / or Python software packages on data analytics / text mining along with the ability to understand complex issues and explain them in simple terms
- Outstanding IT knowledge as well as familiarity with the use of high-performance servers to process data and utilise machine learning algorithms in a timely manner
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Driving cost and shareholder value optimisation initiatives using innovative AI and pattern recognition techniques, quantitative modelling, and large amount of granular data
- Importing, analysing and systematically identifying optimisation opportunities with high model accuracy by using machine learning techniques
- Identifying optimization actions with multi-dimensional value drivers including demand and supply
- Using high-performance servers in order to process the large amount of data and to utilise machine learning algorithms in a timely manner
- Ensuring timely delivery of key tasks and milestones
