We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant (Web) within the Communications team at Make-A-Wish UK.Make-A-Wish® UK grants magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. A wish gives a desperately ill child and their family time away from the daily struggles of living with a serious condition. With the support of our volunteers, fundraisers, donors and corporate partners, we have turned the wishes of more than 10,000 seriously ill children into magical realities - creating precious memories to treasure forever, whatever the future may hold.This is an ideal role for someone wanting to develop their career within website development and design. In this role you will manage development of the Make-A-Wish UK website and designs for the site as well as for a variety of digital channels.If you are keen to also gain experience in the charity sector working for a brand indexed charity then this role is an opportunity to do that. The secondary focus will be editing photos and videos for the Make-A-Wish website and other digital channels.- Maintain the current website presence and ensure all areas function as expected to meet business requirements- Develop new web pages, modules and functionality to support digital acquisition activity - from designing to developing and publishing- Design and develop sign up forms and payment forms within the platform Engaging Networks- Design graphically appealing content to support our web storytelling needs, including working with lifestyle imagery, icon creation and infographics- Support the Digital Acquisition Manager analysing and developing our consumer acquisition journeys through the use of platforms such as Hotjar- Run A/B tests to analyse and optimise new functionality- Maintain a range of web optimising tools including Hotjar, Optimizely and similar - Ensure the web structure and backend of the Make-A-Wish website is fully updated and managing the security of the sitePerson Attributes:Experience, Skills and Knowledge - Experience designing, developing and maintaining successful sites with Drupal 7- Experience with Engaging Networks - main focus building and managing forms- Experience creating custom modules and themes using the Drupal API - Experienced in PHP, as well as significant experience on front end development including CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript - Experience using design tools like PhotoShop or similar - Experience using video tools such as Premier Pro- App development experience a plusLeadership and Management - Ability to use own initiative and proactively put things in action.
