Cobol/Mainframe Expert
An exciting opportunity has opened with an industry leading organisation to work on a business critical program in the heart of Budapest, this is a long term opportunity with extended contract opportunities after this program has finished.
Cobol/Mainframe Expert Must Have:
* Hands on Cobol/DB2 programming experience in Legacy Mainframe based system
* Strong understanding of Source code Cobol and SQL
* Experience in SDLC and Methodologies
* Proficiency in Dutch/French and English
* Insurance (Life and Non-Life) domain knowledge - Preferable
* Ability to participate in Business Discussion/Meeting & Requirement review with SMEs
* Able to capture main topics in discussions with technical IT people
* Seeking information/clarification for projects or support high priority incidents
* Translating the documents/sharing information from local language to English
* Ability to work as a bi-lingual and interfacing between Customer and TCS team
* Flexible in working hours (8 Hours/day) based on project requirements
Cobol/Mainframe Expert Good to have:
* Having basic knowledge in Operating System (TSO), Batch Jobs (JCL), Onlines, and operating languages such as Assembly/ADABAS
* Prior experience in working with multi-cultural team and offshore onsite model
* Documentation skill and sufficient knowledge in Microsoft productivity tools like Ms-word, Ms-excel, PPT etc.
There will be European travel involved with this program
