Software Developer | Eindhoven - NL | €40 - €75 ph | 12 Month Contract
People Source Consulting are currently seeking skilled Software Developers to join a world leader in IT solutions on an initial 12 month contract Basis.
Your role will be to develop/create software solutions that are instrumental to keeping our clients product at the top of their field. You will be involved at all stages of the software development process: specifying, designing, testing and integrating the advanced software for use in our world-leading products.

Job Description:
You will be responsible for creating clear specifications on requirements, making the efficient design choices, to 'make it happen' by also implementing the design and verify the implementation. Next to this, you will be responsible for providing effort estimates for the work at hand and identify dependencies on others. The software you will deliver will be documented and qualified by means of automated test cases.
Education:
*MSc. or BSc. education level
*Computer Science, Physics, Electronics, Mechanics, Mathematics or comparable
Technical requirements:
*Experienced in C, C++, Shell Scripting, object-oriented programming, Unix/Linux, Solaris, Python and software configuration management (ClearCase, SVN or GIT).
*Network knowledge: TCP/IP, Valgrind, WireShark, UBOOT, BOOTP, NFS, NTP, DNS, TFTP, ATCA
*VxWorks Kernel configuration & development.
*WindRiver Linux development & Kernel configuration.
*PowerPC, PCI, VME, assembly.
*Experienced in working in (agile) team environment.
*Experience in the high-tech industry and/or in factory automation is a plus.
*Experience with SECS, EDA and EDI or familiar experience in other industries is also a plus.
In return:
*€40 - €75 per hour (Depending on skills and experience)
*12 month initial contract with scope for extension/permanent employment to follow.
