.NET/C# Developer/Contract/ChorleyThe role:
This Microsoft technology focused developer will be required to be involved in the specification and implementation of changes to existing systems and to provide support for issues raised in existing client solutions. They will also be responsible for assisting in the interpretation of client requirements into functional specifications and the conversion of these functional specifications into solid well developed maintainable code. To achieve this they will have to ensure that the company standards and processes are used. The role also requires interaction with other developers to ensure common understanding of the required solution to be achieved.
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the full SDLC including; eliciting requirements; producing documentation; input into technical designs, development; testing and maintenance and support related activities.
Skills and Tech:
*C# .NET Framework, WinForms and / or ASP.NET MVC.
*Strong middle tier development.
*Designing and developing systems using OOP techniques.
*RDBMS/SQL.
*Unit Testing using automated testing frameworks.
*Microsoft Visual Studio SQL Server Management Studio.
*HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Knockout.js.
*WCF including XML/SOAP and RESTful Web services.
