Senior SDET - Luton - £500 per day
Large holiday company based in Luton require an SDET to work on their industry leading E-commerce sites.
As Senior SDET you will be responsible for ensuring the Automation tests being developed by the sprint teams is complimentary to the overall test automation framework. Maximising reuse of in-Sprint data and automation artefacts is key and you will need to ensure that the sprint teams keep this in mind for all deliverables.
- Contribute to creation and maintenance of overarching (e2e) test automation framework.
- Work within delivery teams to ensure their disparate streams are producing test automation artefacts are complementary/consistent with overarching framework.
- Coach, mentor and co-ordinate a central (off-shore) team of automation testers to implement the Integration/Hardening Test Packs.
- Act as overarching Quality Advocate within delivery streams.
- Provide guidance on BDD implementation to work stream delivery teams.
Key skills
- Strong hands on practical knowledge and experience of automation; SpecFlow, Cucumber-JVM, JBehave, using Selenium (GRID, RC, Webdriver), soapUI
- Strong practical knowledge and experience in test automation design and framework setup
- Should have strong programming skills ideally using C#, Java using Ant or Maven
- Strong knowledge of any one of the Scripting languages such as Ruby, Python or Perl
- Strong practical knowledge and experience in automation framework tools; JUnit, TestNG
- Strong knowledge and experience in setting up of continuous integration; Jenkins, Bamboo, Teamcity
This is a 6 month contract offering £500 per day and the location is Luton.
