Senior Sharepoint Engineer - Prague - SC clearable - euro per day - 12 months
They must by clearable - the client has said that candidates can be cleared retrospectively;
They must be a citizen of the EU;
This role is full time in Prague, starting ASAP for approximately 12 months;
My client is looking for Senior SharePoint engineer to join their programme in Prague.
Key IT support and maintenance tasks will include:
. Installing and configuring a Document Management System across our client's networks;
. Migrating data from our client's Legacy tools into the solution
. Managing different releases with incremented and/or new functionalities, testing and deploying them into a live environment;
. End user support and training, enabling them to exploit the new functionality in full
Secondary activities in providing Level 1-3 IT Technical Support will include:
. Help Desk and Operations Monitoring for incidents and quick-fix solutions
. Work with end-users to resolve issues and respond to questions in a timely manner
. Validate fixes with users
. Assist in the creation of creating and maintaining user manuals, system courses, and other reference and training support materials
. Assist users with software training
. Fixing bugs and resolving issues based on priorities in a timely manner
Essential knowledge and experience:
. Deep knowledge of .net and SharePoint DOM
. Design, development and maintenance of websites or portals that use SharePoint, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, SharePoint Web Services, Workflows, JavaScript, JQuery, CAML, XML and related technologies
. Analysis, specification and design of functional and technical solutions
. Coding, testing, debugging and deployment of solutions based on the specified technologies;
. Providing technical support for existing web sites;
. Preparing technical, user and training documentation;
. Conducting user training as necessary.
Your CV must demonstrate clear evidence of the following:
. At least 5 years' experience of developing, installing and supporting SharePoint-based systems and IT technical support.
A current SC is beneficial but not essential for this role, but if you don't already hold this clearance, you must be willing to be vetted and also be clearable (ie be a UK/EU national who has lived and worked in the EU for the past 5 years.
You must be:
. proficient in (written and spoken) English
. Capable of picking up new concepts quickly, as the system is large and complicated;
. Working to exacting standards and to agreed timescales as part of a team;
Desirable knowledge and experience:
. One or more of Microsoft's professional certifications;
. Previous Public Regulated service (PRS) experience
. Experience of working in the space sector
