.Net Kentico Developer ( .Net, Kentico, JavaScript ) required for a leading Digital Agency based in Twickenham. This is an exciting opportunity for an immediate start. They are currently working with some globally known, blue chip businesses, and are looking for a .NET Kentico Developer ( .Net, Kentico, JavaScript ) to come in and hit the ground running on multiple projects. You will be working within a dynamic team developing financial and corporate projects.
Role and Responsibilities of the .NET Kentico Developer ( .Net, Kentico, JavaScript ):
- 3 month contract (minimum)
- You will be responsible for creating robust, modern, responsive web applications.
- Working with the members of the design team, providing feedback and direction in order to optimize the overall development workflow. As well as work on the Back End development to integrate various parts of the application together
- Development of ASP.NET (C#) web applications from designs and functional specifications
- Development of Front End artefacts based on designs, functional specifications and industry standards and patterns
- Communicating with clients and third parties at a technical level
Essential skills of the .NET Kentico Developer ( .Net, Kentico, JavaScript ):
- 3+ years recent experience with the Kentico CMS
- 5yrs+ commercial experience in ASP.NET (C#)
- 5 years' experience with JavaScript, jQuery.
- HTML/CSS coding to web and accessibility standards and best practices. Responsive and adaptive experience.
- Working knowledge of Git, SVN
- Knowledge of ASP.NET (WebForms and MVC 3+), ability to understand C#, working understanding of the ASP.NET as a web application framework
- Knowledge of modern Front End tools
- Web accessibility standards and knowledge of W3C HTML validation standards
- Demonstrated application of web and coding best practices and standards to achieve fast secure web sites.
Contract length - 3 months (minimum)
Day Rate - £310 - £320 per day
Location - Twickenham
Start date - ASAP
The suitable .NET Kentico Developer ( .Net, Kentico, JavaScript ) will have good problem solving skills and willingness to learn new systems and platforms. An important part of the role will include improving the modularity, reusability, readability, performance and cross-platform friendliness of the web applications you help build.
