Opportunity for Coolgen Developer
Our client, a Federal Government Department in Sydney is seeking the services of CA Gen Developer.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following activities:
- Work within a team of Developers, Business Analysts and Testers and will encompass the full software development life cycle from requirements gathering to implementation
- Demonstrate experience in CA Gen development experience in both a technical and functional capacity
- Demonstrate experience in analysis, design and programming of large systems using CA Gen and Guardien
- Demonstrate experience in SQL, including performance tuning.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills/experience:
- Demonstrated experience as a CA Gen Developer within an enterprise application development environment, with preference to those with no less than 5 years in developing complex Client Server applications within an agile framework such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise and negotiate with business and technical personnel.
- Analysis, design and programming of large systems using CA Gen, including:
- CA Gen
- Guardien
- Client Server
- Batch programming
- SQL performance tuning
- CA Gen development experience in both a technical and functional capacity
- Systems support experience, including demonstrated hands-on analytical and problem solving skills
- Solution design experience, including logical, physical, database and implementation design
- Sound and effective organisational skills, including the ability to manage changes to business requirements and priorities and work within tight timeframes.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve outcomes and meet deadlines.
- Experience in the development of Unit and Regression Test Suites.
- Experience in Object Orientated Design and UML using Enterprise Architect or similar tools.
The client requires the applicants to hold Australian Citizenship and Baseline Clearance for this role.
