Description
My client is a large retail and E-commerce company based in Cologne, Germany. They are undergoing a data processing project to organize their search engine cluster results in order to get a better and more holistic view of consumer trends and the responsiveness of the company to these changing trends.To do this they are looking for a Scala developer contractor to work on a project over a year long with six month rolling contracts. The candidate is expected to be very sharp in functional programming, very proficient in system algorithms and able to take unique and diverse approaches to dealing with problems.
Requirements
-Long term experience working as a Scala developer with extensive use of functional programming paradigms.
-Hands on experience with Apache Spark and Cassandra.
-German speaking is a requirement.
Benefits
