Description
The Integration Analyst is responsible for analysing how systems should be connected to each other in an
enterprise by understanding the business logics/processors, security implementations and identity
management, deployment topologies etc. The primary responsibility is to document these integration
requirements so that it could be articulated to a development team who will be connecting the systems
together. The post holder should also apply the best practices and suggest the enterprise integration patterns
that could be used when integrating these systems in a service oriented environment.
The following skills are all essential:
In depth understanding in how loosely coupled systems are designed and the purpose of it.
Excellent understanding on the concepts of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
In depth knowledge in enterprise integration patterns and how to apply them.
Sound understanding of how different systems talk to each other: concepts such as XML, JSON, SOAP,
REST are all essential.
