Your New role :-
Our Clients customer is a company who develop premium gaming content and fast, flexible gaming systems.
We are looking for a Senior Platform Developer (C++) to join the OPS Development team and you will be based in Lodz, Poland.
The OPS platform is an advanced and highly transaction intensive gaming and account system. The plan is to expand the product feature set, integrating several third party providers as well as continuously increasing performance and reliability. The platform is built in C++.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of an Agile self-organising team with development and execution of tests for new features and functionality in the OPS platform
- Create clear and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts
- Identify, track and document bugs
- Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Actively contribute to improving our ways of work
Your Skills and Qualifications :-
Essential Skills :-
- Solid and demonstrable experience in software testing - preferably with extensive experience in automation
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python
- Experience reading or developing C++
- Experience of working in an Agile environment
- An understanding of HTTP, XML, JSON and web-based APIs
- Experience with working in a Windows environment
- Ability to express yourself in English, both in writing and speech
- Service-minded and pragmatic
- Helpful towards co-workers and customers
- Good problem-solving skills
- Academic degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience
Desirable Skills :-
- Experience with transaction-intensive systems or casino systems is preferable
- Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Subversion
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium
