Proteus Europe is searching for a C Programmer for a 12 month+ contract role based in Brussels, Belgium.
Our Client:-
Our client is, as the first universal direct bank, a strong player on the Belgian market. The bank provides its customers with a wide range of financial products and services via the distribution channel of their choice (click and face). Our clients customers are based in retail as well as private banking clients, as well as small, medium and large enterprises.
Your New role:-
- System engineering on different Windows versions and related tools.
- Technical expertise in C/C++ development, communication protocols, databases, Scripting,
- Deep-dive into existing programs, to be able to understand them, adapt them and improve them when needed.
- Technical analysis and implementation of the evolution of architecture, bug fixes, improvements in quality, resolutions of incidents and anomalies.
- Documentation of technical applications and associated flows.
- Monitoring and resolution of issues/problems/technical problems.
- Support for third level.
Your Skills and Qualifications:-
Essential Skills:-
- Minimum Master Degree in IT or equivalent by experience
- Experience of min. 5 years Windows system engineering (Windows 7 (32 and 64 bits) and Windows 10, Windows Server 2012); this is a must have !
- Experience with C, C++, .NET Frameworks, Visual Studio 2015, TFS; this is a must have !.
- Valid experience on Scripting (PowerShell, CMD, VBScript) is a plus
- Communication protocol including TCP/IP is a plus
- Experience with Database Informix and SQL is a plus.
- Excellent English and good understanding of French and/or Dutch.
- Experience on ATM-software is a nice to have.
- Some experience in a similar environment is a plus.
