One of my clients based in Stockholm is currently looking for a Microsoft BI Front End Developer to join them ASAP for an initial contract until end of August 2018.
Description of assignment:
The BI solution manages production data and includes large amounts of data with daily loads with millions of transactions daily with storage and presentation of billions of transactions.
The solution consists of the following components:
ETL - SQL Server Integration Services
DB - SQL Server and SQL Server Analytics Platform (MPP)
Cubes - SQL Server Analysis Services Tabular
Reference data - SQL Server Master Data Services (MDS)
SSRS reports
Business Objects reports
The assignment includes:
Expand existing DB solution with more information
Expand existing cubes (SSAS Tabular) with more information, KPIs, measures etc
Expand reference data in MDS to manage more information.
Optimize existing solution for better performance
Use SQL Server 2016 and 2017
Build SSRS and Business Objects reports
Skills needed:
Senior experience within Microsoft SQL Server BI
Senior experience with SSAS cubes and Tabular
Senior experience building SSRS reports
Experience from Database Development
Experience from System Development
Experience from Data Warehouse project
Experience also of building Business Objects reports is meritorious.
