Network Architect - Contract - London/Edinburgh
Square One are looking for a Network Architect to come on board for an initial 3 month contract in London or Edinburgh
This is an initial 3 month contract, paying market rates.
The role is based in either London or Edinburgh but will require the odd travel to the other location.
Main Duties:
Leading the client engagement to understand business and technical requirements and to advise and agree on suitable detailed design options and decisions
Shaping the solution framework providing direction to tech leads on how to complete the design and translate business requirements to technical actions and vice versa, and identifying complex dependencies
Acting as the escalation point for a global team for a complex solution delivery
Supporting business development discussions by leading technical conversation for new client opportunities
Leading the client engagement to understand business and technical requirements and to advise and agree on suitable detailed design options and decisions
Experience/Key Skills:
Cisco ACI Design, Deployment, Troubleshooting, and Operational experience
Cisco Routing and Switching - BGP, OSPF, BFD, HSRP, STP, VPC, FabricPath on Nexus 7K, 6K, 5K, 2K and Catalyst 6500 - CCxP level
F5 Big IP (LTM, ASM and DNS) including Advanced Routing Module
F5 VIPRION Chassis and vCMP deployment experience
FortiGate and management platforms
Gigamon HC-2 and GigaVUE experience
Raritan CCSG & DSX-2 experience
Infoblox DDI experience
Fundamentals of Cloud Application and Network Architecture - primarily AWS but Azure/GCP etc also acceptable
Network Focussed automation, via Scripting with python and/or ansible or similar
Automating public and/or private cloud deployments
