Job Type: Contract

Job Location: Stockholm, Sweden

Contract Rate: Negotiable depending on Experience

Contract Length: 6 Months

Our Client, one of the world's foremost IT Consultants, is looking to recruit a Contract Sharepoint Developer to join their client in Stockholm.

Our client is looking for a dedicated SharePoint Developer with proven experience with system maintenance, further development and refactoring of existing systems.

The requested candidate would have experience with application development using SharePoint (SharePoint object model, event receivers, web parts, content types, Business Data Catalogue, extending SharePoint web services, Managed Metadata Services, solution packaging and scripted deployment using PowerShell), and .Net technologies (technologies: C#, .NET 3.5 or higher, WCF, and LINQ, as well as T-SQL and MS SQL 2008R2/2012).

Previous experience with migration/upgrade projects from SharePoint to SharePoint 2013 and/or SharePoint 2016, including data migration is requested, as is knowledge and experience with unit testing in SharePoint. Should the requested candidate have experience with client-side scripting (technologies: JavaScript, AJAX, XML, XSLT, HTML/XHTML and CSS) it will be regarded as advantageous.

In addition, previous experience with tools used by ECDC is beneficial (technologies: Visual Studio , SharePoint Designer, Team Foundation Server, MS SQL Management Studio / MS SQL Profiler and K2 platform for SharePoint).

Tasks and Deliverables by the Consultant

The consultant shall be requested to perform various tasks related to the projects, products, applications and services developed in the Document Management group. The tasks will include:

Implement and maintain new and existing systems developed by the group;

Maintain the code base and fix bugs as reported in Team Foundation Server;

Provide third-level support to the ICT Infrastructure section;

Contribute to the planning and execution of test activities to ensure an acceptable quality;

Report to the Group Leader in the Document Management group.

Evaluation criteria

Experience with developing using C# in SharePoint (2010, 2013 and 2016);

Experience with developing content management systems;

Experience with Unit Testing;

Experience with scripted deployments using PowerShell;

General understanding of web services and SOAP, and development experience in WCF

Experience in technical document writing;

Motivation and communication.
