Templeton & Partners are currently seeking for Core Banking Domain Architects for large finance industry client in Stockholm.

As a Domain Architect you will play a crucial role in the engineering organization responsible for building client's platform.

You will work hands-on in a cross-functional team with engineering, finance, and product to co-develop, document, and publish architectural solutions for some of the most critical systems at the company. You will report to and work closely with the VP of Engineering.

Start: Immediate

Duration: 6 months + extensions

Working: Full-time (Some flexible working is possible)

Language: English Only

As a Domain Architect you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Gain a deep understanding of our business and translate strategy to architecture.
  • Drive architectural design for the domain focusing on clarifying concepts, concerns, interactions, and boundaries between systems, processes, and teams.
  • Synthesize, document, share, evangelize, and present your knowledge and architecture across the company.
  • Participate in the central architecture forum to define and evolve company-wide architectural guidelines and tech radar.

Required skills:

  • Hands-on experience from building and maintaining Real Time, transaction-heavy systems with very high security requirements.
  • Deep understanding of systems architecture and the ability to apply this to dynamic business needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with services or microservices architecture, synchronous and asynchronous inter-process communication, and API design.
  • Experience with the application of patterns and concepts such as CQRS, event sourcing, CAP theorem and streaming architectures.

Desired skills:

  • Experience from the Banking sector and finance
  • Experience from Payments processing
  • Hands-on experience with creating and maintaining company-wide data models
  • Experience with large-scale systems running on AWS or other comparable cloud provider
