Our client is urgently searching for a Mainframe Developer with Cobol, SAS, Mainframe Testing experience to work on a critical project in Denmark as a contractor.

The role
As senior Mainframe developer who will join our behavior scoring team and be part of development and maintenance of Nordic systems on the z/OS Mainframe.
Key responsibilities
Design, code and test programs on the IBM z/OS Mainframe
Analyze requirements and existing systems in collaboration with your team and find the right solutions ensuring efficient implementation, quality and compliance
Take responsibility for maintenance and support of our operational systems in production in collaboration with other units
The team has the responsibility to develop and maintain IT solutions within the Behavior credit scoring area. These solutions have been developed together with highly specialized business unit, which act as owner of our developed solutions.
You will join a team that collaborates with colleagues across the Nordics and our offshore teams in India. You will be based in Denmark.
You have extensive experience with:
Cobol and SAS development on IBM Mainframe
Mostly Batch and some CICS-development
Test and quality assurance
Data warehouse integrations
You can design, code, document and test highly effective applications, applying
outstanding technical competence to fulfil business and IT requirements.
You enjoy collaborating with others in your team and are eager to share your knowledge. You can work independently when you understand what to achieve. In addition we expect that you as experienced IT developer is a quick learner and able to build up an understanding of other platforms in order to enable you to collaborate with other teams.
It is a clear advantage if you have experience from financial sector and credit risk management.
