Proteus Europe is searching for a WPF developer for our client based in Brussels, Belgium

Your New role:-
Our client is looking for a senior WPF developer to help advance solutions written in .net WPF technology. You'll be involved in the Back End development for these solutions as well. You'll be part of a team of 3-5 people who write code, unit tests and functional tests. As the solutions are in production, youre occasionally requested to assist in root cause analysis for operational issues.
Your Skills and Qualifications:-
Essential Skills:-
- Knowledge of messaging(queues) is a plus (Rabbit MQ or MSMQ)
- Experience with SQL Anywhere is a plus
- Experience with Windows OS integration is a plus
- Knowledge of deployment of client applications is a plus
- Experimentation or a first experience with .net Core is nice to have.
Desirable Skills:-
We are looking for a senior developer with minimum 5 years of .NET experience.
Mandatory skills
- You have a strong knowledge of .NET framework and possess a strong knowledge of SQL
- You know how to use and implement unit tests, and have experience implementing them in Legacy code.
- You know WPF to great extend and are happy to coach your team members if needed.
- You are a teamplayer with good communication skills who documents his or her code to great extent. As our documentation is done in English, we expect a good level of understanding for English.
