Description
We are looking for one "SHAREPOINT Developer" to start from ASAP a 4-weeks contract (initial, extensions possible) for an international Org'-client in Rome. With possibility of extension based on performance and budget availability. Our client is an international organisation and a great reference in any CV! English speaking environment. Our client has a growing portfolio of web applications leveraging SHAREPOINT, Liferay, Ruby/Rails and other web technologies.
Our client has decided to internally reorganize to better meet the needs of our clients and beneficiaries. These organizational changes will have an impact on the current Sharepoint sites.
TASKS
The consultant is responsible for Sharepoint development, supporting business objectives while providing expertise in software development life cycle phases from design to testing. The will consultant work as part of existing team, ensuring that all development and configuration is consistent with client standards and procedures and in alignment with the shared hosting arrangement.
In response to the organizational change, the consultant will
- Analyse impact of the divisional/departmental changes on the Sharepoint setup and configuration
- Systematize the updating of security and privileges for site owners and users
- In agreement with site owners, implement the new sites for the affected divisions, including the allocation of documents to appropriate new sites
- Provide support, as part of the ICT Sharepoint team, to the users affected by the reorganization
- Document changes to ensure knowledge transfer to clients Sharepoint team
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent SharePoint Development experience
- SharePoint Architecture Object Model SharePoint Templates and InfoPath
- Knowledge of configuring Security, Privacy and Permission in SharePoint, as well as integrating with Active Directory and synchronizing user profiles.
- Experience in SQL Server Database design
- Experience of developing/modifying workflows in SharePoint
- Experience of gathering and documenting user requirements
- Any Microsoft certifications a bonus
Qualification and experience
- University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related discipline with at least six years of professional work experience, of which 3 must be with the Sharepoint
- Experience of both designing and executing technical solutions from business requirements.
- Ability to document technical projects.
Languages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English essential.
