Description
Unity3D developer/.NET
This person will perform detailed Unity development for existing projects and could vary depending workloads. Several projects that are currently in process are VPR (Visual Parts Recognition), Halo Lens repair instruction, mobile applications, engineering lab used for truck virtualization and a capabilities demo. These projects are in various stages so this resource must be able to jump in and help do development and meet with stakeholders/business sponsors/end users to gather requirements or give presentations for updates on project statuses.
Candidates must have
1.) 4+ years of Unity3D, mobile, virtual reality, and augmented reality development
2.) 4+ years of C#, HTML5, JSON, JavaScript, and web application frameworks
3.) Experience with content creation tools such as Photoshop, Maya/3D Studio Max or MCAD tools such as Creo Parametric/Autocad.
Nice to have experience with Microsoft Mixed Reality Toolkit and/or SteamVR, computer vision APIs such as Vuforia or OpenCV.
3. Experience with 3D Model optimization and import/export scripting.
4. Experience with AI/Machine Learning services.
5. Strong UI and user experience design skills.
6. General knowledge of math, physics, and of software engineering best practices, experience in the transport solution industry, mechanical engineering/design, manufacturing or understanding of manufacturing processes, delivering high-visibility technology solutions to a global audience.
Candidates must have strong written and oral skills as they will be heavily involved with updating, demoing and interfacing with business units and end users.
Work hours will be Monday - Friday/8-5 and resource must sit onsite in Greensboro, NC within an office environment.
Team size will vary depending on the projects assigned to them.
