JOB TITLE: Microservices, Web Services developer
JOB DUTIES:
- Implement new, modify existing, and migrate Legacy services to microservices to meet business and technical requirements
- Support full SDLC in an Agile methodology
- Analyze and resolve production issues the first time - with quality and expedency
- Adhere to our development standards and governance policies
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- Hands-on web services development
- Hands-on microservices development
- Service development exerience using
- Java/J2EE technologies
- Spring/SpringBoot
- SQL
- JMS
- Pivotal Cloud Foundry
Hands-on usage of
- Maven build scripts
- Previous experience using source control sytems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player, collaborative
- Delivers excellent quality of code and documenation
- Critical thinker, good problem solver
- Can deliver assigned work independently
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Redis
- Cassandra
- Elastic stack
- OpenAPI Specification/Swagger
- Apache Camel (almost a must have)
- Jenkins (used in past)
- Tomcat AS
- WebSphere AS
- Postgre SQL development experience
- Oracle SQL development experience
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
BS in computer science, information systems, or other technical field is a plus but not required
