6 month -1 year contract for a Cloud/API Architect -
Architect is responsible for securing architectural quality of project, fulfilling artifacts as required by EA Certification process, and leading solution design and software development effort.
Skills
- 1+ years software architecture experience (important to have previous architecture experience with integrations)
- 3+ years REST API software design/development experience
- 1+ years Azure API Gateway experience, OAuth2, OpenAPI {Swagger}
- 2+ years Azure development experience with Service Bus {Event Hub}, DocumentDb {CosmosDb}
- 5+ years experience with Microsoft MVC API development
- Experience rolling out API Developer portal desirable
- Agile/Scrum experience desirable
- Purchase Order processing domain expertise desirable
Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead solution design and software development efforts
- Define software development life cycle practices where Group IT has not established patterns or reference architectures.
- Provides updates to management on the architecture effort, software development effort, re-estimation, and costs
- Agility to shift priorities and multi-task based on business needs
- Recommends courses of action based on current situations and risks
- Oversees system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Guides testing techniques for unit testing for developers
- Participate in requirement and design review sessions; evaluate requirements and design docs
- Follow EA Certification guidelines.
