Description
Beacon Hill Technologies is currently searching for an experienced developer that will work on a small, self-organizing team dedicated to delivering valuable system enhancements. Reports to Delivery Manager of IS Supply Chain team and will work alongside other developers and business analysts. Will be tasked with building/updating reports, interfaces, customizations and extensions according to documented requirements and considering performance, supportability and security needs. Will complete unit testing to ensure delivery of a functional and stable product and participate in system (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT). The role also requires working with functional and technical subject matter experts (SMEs) on design topics and effort estimation, executing transition of delivered solution to production support and carrying out implementation of the solution.
This role requires strong communication and organization skills as it will be client facing. The candidate will be accountable for timely updates on progress, communicating solution options/tradeoffs, raising issues/roadblocks for resolution, and providing quality deliverables as defined by the project. In most cases, the role will require effectively managing multiple concurrent enhancements and responding to changes in business priority.
