Description
A Federal Government Department in Canberra is seeking the services of Senior Web Developers.
Contract Period : 12 months with possible extension options
The duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Development and support for senior business users of the parliamentary web applications;
- Develop enhancements for parliamentary web applications;
- Work with Project Managers, technical staff, and stakeholders to successfully implement solutions;
- Contribute to the effective management of resources;
- Adhere to the development team work practices, and suggest improvements;
- Create documentation for training, testing, and support purposes.
Successful candidate will possess the following skills/experience:
- Demonstrated experience in ASP.NET, Web Forms, MVC, and WCF within the .NET 2.0+ framework, Visual Studio IDE, C#, HTML, JavaScript and CSS;
- Experience with presentation frameworks such as Foundation, Bootstrap, React, Angular is desirable;
- Experience with Microsoft SQLServer and database design; and
- Experience with Sitecore Content Management system is desirable.
The client requires the applicants to hold Australian Citizenship and NV 1 clearance for this role.
