UX Product Designer Galway Contract Crypto 6-12 months.
My client a leading global firm at the top of their global market, is in urgent need of a talented and experienced UX Product Designer to join their group on a contract basis.
My client is seeking a Product Experience Designer for their applied technology group based at their Galway, Ireland office This group is the innovation catalyst within their organisation. They inspire the organisation to creatively develop new products and amazing customer experiences.
My client is looking for candidates that have a driving personal passion for products and for technology, Love of solving complex problems; comfortable with not always knowing the answer but knowing how to engage in a process to figure it out; ability to innovate on process and a belief that nothing is sacred. You will be hungry for continuous learning and have an ability to excite, energise and motivate others; thrives in teams; highly inclusive and collaborative. You will have a bias towards action and results; the confidence to take risks and to "fail fast". You will have an ability to thrive in moments of chaos and ambiguity and have confidence to talk to customers/clients/stakeholders and show them things not necessarily ready for primetime.
You will have 5+ years of commercial experience working on new product conception (previous startup experience is a plus). You will have a Strong portfolio and demonstrable success working on "real world" design problems. You will have expertise with design, information architecture, and light prototyping tools (Adobe Suite, Sketch, Balsamiq or similar, inVision). You will have experience with both user and usability testing, you will also have experience in Design Thinking. Successful candidates will have experience with designing for iPhone and other mobile devices. You will have experience in Agile, Lean UX or Lean Start-up methods, is a plus. You will also have a familiarity with technologies such as CSS, HTML, JavaScript. Candidates must include project portfolio as part of their application.
