Description
Signify Technology have partnered with one of the biggest names in technology, helping there team in Sunnyvale, CA to find Scala experts from across the US.
They are looking for several Senior Contractors to join the ever-growing Back End team in their Digital Agency department, paying up to $200 per hour.
As part of this team, you will be contributing to the design, development and maintenance of numerous high-impact projects, using the latest open-source technologies. You will be collaborating with in-house cross functional teams to evolve and deliver iconic brand images and interactive experiences on a worldwide Scale.
You must be passionate about all things Scala and with a deep understanding of functional programming and the best practices used in software engineering.
Requirements
- 5+ Years Commercial Experience in Software Development
- Deep Understanding of Typelevel Scala (design and development)
- Preferable from a Java Background
- Experience in Microservice Architecture and knowledge of Data Centres/Storage
- CI/CD experience (Jenkins, Git, Docker)
- Kafka, Monads, Cats, Akka

- Strong team player, confident in collaborating with other technical teams
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a keen eye for problem solving.
