Description
Experience:
8 years Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect, with an upstream Oil and Gas background (Subsurface is a must)
15-20 years in Software/IT.
Good knowledge of platform, product selection in all application areas (DB, APP, UX)
Technology stack is mostly irrelevant as long as it is one of the major stacks - .Net, Java, Open Source (MEAN preferred)
Cloud and Cloud Migration from on-premise to Azure and AWS
Big Data Integration and Analytics Ecosystem (Seismic preferred), MapR, HortonWorks, Spark, Talend, Alteryx)
Ability to document architecture as per templates provided
Nice to have:
Enterprise architecture experience (TOGAF certification is a plus)
Ability to translate technical jargon into business language and vice versa
Good presentation and convincing abilities
Skills:
- Azure, AWS, Open Source, Advanced Analytics platforms, techniques and tools Hortonworks, MapR, Talend, MEAN stack, various operating systems
- Elasticity concepts and configuration on various cloud providers
Must be available to start ASAP
