For our client we are looking for a ColdFusion Consultants
Ework is direct supplier to our client - there is no middle layer. This means that we have a good contact with procurement and in many cases, know the stakeholder and his needs.
Job description:
Under the overall supervision of the bespoke application development manager, the consultants will be responsible for:
- Responding to all level III support cases.
- Debugging issues, document, propose, and implement solutions.
- Developing or extendingcurrent systems following the used technologies and frame work.
- Assisting system administrators in routine server maintenance and administration tasks.
- Responding to other tasks (participating in meetings, testing existing systems, code review & optimization and documentations) assigned to them by the Bespoke applications manager.
- Preparing a detailed status report at the end of every month during the contract.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of ColdFusion MX 7.0 or higher programming language;
- Advanced knowledge of CFML, CFC's, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, AJAX JQuery and XML;
- Basic knowledge og JAVA programming language a plus;
- Proficiency in MySQL database and 3 years of experience in T-SQL;
- Solid design, coding, testing, and debugging skills;
- Experience applying version and revision control practices and procedures;
- Mobile Application Development experience using ColdFusion and Adobe phone gap is a plus;
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop web applications for the clients Intranet and Extranet sites using Cold Fusion MX, HTML, AJAX, JavaScript, and JQuery;
- Ability to independently develop data schemas and SQL queries;
- Liaise with functional owners of the applications as well as additional functionalities for existing applications;
- Analyze the requirements and prepare project documents, development plans and testing/implementation plans;
- Work with other in-house programmers to develop a library of ColdFusion and JavaScript standard functions;:
