On behalf of our client an international finance institute we are looking for external support with skills and abilities as stated below.
Senior Software Engineer (f/m)
Task/Responsibilities Produce Technical Specifications
Participate to the following development activities (coding, Unit Testing, development support during Test phases)
Ensure daily progress reporting
Interact with the functional, development and testing teams in Czech Republic, Germany and Luxembourg
Qualifications/required skills Strong technical expertise in Object Oriented Design (OOD), C++, SQL and Linux
University degree or equivalent
Fast learner, solution orientated
Capacity to quickly understand and enhance existing applications
Strong organizational skills
Pro-activity and capacity to meet objectives with limited support
Advanced hands on experience in OOD (preferably UML) and C++ developments
Ability to work in a team distributed across multiple locations
Around 3 - 5 years of experience
Good command of English is expected
Minimum 3 years of experience in development in a financial institution
Additional Domain & Business Skills (but not mandatory):
Past experience in an financial institute/Stock exchange
Knowledge of GIT versioning tool
Ability to work in an international environment
Functional knowledge in Financial Industry.
Assignment:
- Fulltime (100%)
- Duration: 6 months (optional extension)
- Start: ASAP
- Location: Luxembourg
