Description

Synergis is seeking a Partner Relationship Specialist for our client. The ideal candidate is a dedicated professional geared at serving the existing content provider partnerships, including: on-boarding, liaising with internal teammates to answer ongoing questions, supporting research projects, and contracting renewals and terminations of deals as needed.

This is a 9 month contract job opportunity.

Partner Relationship Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate conversations between clients and the Metadata or Content Services teams to answer a range of common questions from providers subsequent to contract execution.
  • Ensuring that the provider receives the Metadata packet as needed and that this has been sent to the right person on the partner's team
  • Ensuring that the provider submits tax forms in a timely fashion so that payments can be rendered on time
  • Answering questions related to the Metadata and QA processes, and setting provider expectations around the timelines required to do so
  • Troubleshooting issues that arise in a provider's ability to meet QA feedback, and deciding when to make exceptions to the standard Metadata and asset policies on a case-by-case basis
  • Follow up with Metadata to create a feedback loop confirming when a provider's content has been fully approved through all necessary QA channels, and is going up for pre-sale or launch
  • Communicating updates back to the Business Owner as needed for alignment with promotions or inclusion in strategic initiatives
  • Share editorial calendar, including details, restrictions on submissions, the format in which to submit titles for consideration, and appropriate timelines, and manage the flow of answers between the editorial team and the provider.
  • Effectively and respectfully answer questions related to promotional opportunities to those providers whose titles do not meet pre-set criteria, and encourage them to consider exclusive distribution
  • Liaise with Content Services, Royalties, Tax, and Legal teams for questions and needs related to payments and royalties Ex: changes in legal status, company name, ownership, or contact information
  • Collect necessary details on the earner(s) and agreement(s) expiring or being terminated from CID and from within the legal share drive
  • Submit termination/amendment to the Legal team, make requests via Salesforce, as needed
  • Follow Content Services' guidelines to submit a request for removal of content from distribution, as needed
  • Manage the flow of events for all above requests from partners in a highly organized fashion
  • Help manage and gather information for special projects
  • Assist in researching information on top providers for monthly, quarterly, and periodic reports intended for senior staff

Partner Relationship Specialist Required Skills and Experience:

  • Looking for a minimum 3 years' experience as we need someone who has proven themselves in a past position or two with evidence of being able to balance a fair amount of work and communicate with external partners.
