Description
A government department in Canberra seeks the services of a Service Virtualisation Analyst.
The services will include and not be limited to:
- Designing, developing, deploying and supporting Service Virtualisation (SV) using CA DevTest/LISA;
- Working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver Service Virtualisation outcomes;
- Showing benefits for the client projects using the Department's Service Virtualisation framework and processes;
- Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues
Mandatory/Essential Criteria
- Experience in/exposure to environments using Web services (SOAP and REST), ESB, XML, WSDL, API and IMB MQ technologies;
- Solid understanding of Quality Assurance best practices and processes through all phases of software delivery;
- Solid understanding and proven experience in working with different SDLC methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Waterfall;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills paired with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders;
- Strong personal drive and proven ability to learn and pick up technical skills quickly;
Desirable Criteria
- 2+ years' development background (Java);
- Previous experience in other large ICT landscape and technology architecture in large government departments also desirable;
- Solid understanding or exposure to CI/CD Pipeline practices and concepts;
- Experience with/exposure to designing and deploying virtualised services in an enterprise environment using CA DevTest/LISA. Experience with other SV tools is also desirable.
The client requires the candidate be an Australian Citizen and hold a valid Baseline clearance prior to commencement.
