Role - Contract Lead Electronics Engineer
Duration - 6 months (possible extension)
Location - Bucks
Rate - £45-£50 ph
Want to work for the best in the business? Want to take control of projects and build your portfolio? Our client, a global company based in Bucks are seeking a Contract Lead Electronics Engineer to assist with their exclusive Defence equipment project for a minimum term of 6 months.
The bulk of your days will be spent leading an exciting engineering development project with a team of around 6 engineers of varying disciplines. You will be supporting a skilled senior Technical & Programme management team who are world leaders in Aerospace Electronics and Electronic Subsystem Design, to ensure the successful delivery of this project.
Key experience:
Strong understanding of the product development process including the interfaces between engineering disciplines and other teams such as Test Equipment, Operations, Business Development etc.
Responsible for the technical definition of the Product/System
Good understanding of product design and development costs (Non-Recurring Costs)
Management of project spend to budget, less than £3m
Comfortable leading people both onsite and offsite (in an international setting)
This is a 6-month contract initially, with possibility of extension. The rate range - £45 to £50 per hour depending on the depth of your experience.
This is an immediate requirement and the company ideally want to secure an engineer within the next week.
