Description
Scala Developer required for a 6 month contract based in Dublin.
Role Requirement:
Expected scope of the Project, Objectives & Deliverables and Milestones:
- Build Tooling/Workflow to support migration of clients to EU entity
- Functionality required for Operations users to process client migrations from UK to EU entity in Bulk
- Workflows to be built in Scala on existing platform
Experience Required:
- Strong Scala development skills
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Apache Hadoop
- SQL Programming Competency (with practical experience of at least one RDBMS)
- Strong understanding of software build/release mgmt (with at least one build tool eg ANT)
- Good understanding of unit testing concepts
- Familiarity with development patterns
