Currently Templeton & Partners is looking for an Experienced Splunk Engineer to join one of our international clients for a position in Eindhoven, Netherlands of 6 months with option of extension.
The Task
Templeton & Partners is looking for a strong communicative Splunk Engineer. In this role as an engineer you will work with a variety of talented teammates and be a driving force for building digital solutions. Implementation of new Splunk environment according to high level design created by the customer.
Some of your key activities will include:
- Implementation of new Splunk environment
- Document new development/integration items with detailed technical specifications, as well as testing and validating all development/integration items.
- Troubleshooting Splunk performance issues, log feeds, field extractions, to improve performance.
Our client is looking for you to have experience and skills in:
- 3+ years of experience with Splunk
- Splunk certified Admin
- 2+ years' experience with programming technologies (Python, PowerShell, Ruby)
Experience with these skills are preferred:
- Hands on experience creating roles and playbooks in Ansible
- Good understanding of the ITIL frameworks
- Familiarity with Server Side Scripting
- Splunk Architect certification.
