Currently Templeton & Partners BV is looking for an Experienced Video Algorithm Engineer to join one of our international clients for a position in Eindhoven, Netherlands of 6 months with option of extension.
The Task
Templeton & Partners is looking for a strong communicative Video Algorithm Engineer. In this role as a Video Algorithm Engineer (VAE) you will process and control conversion/transfer of high dynamic range (HDR) video signals. This involves tone mapping, color processing and gamut mapping. You use your video signal processing background to find out why things work, or not. Be hands-on enough to fix such problems and have a good rapport with third parties.
Some of your key activities will include:
- Setting-up and executing tests and trials
- Processing, controlling and conversion/transfer of high dynamic range (HDR) video signals
- Design of adaptive algorithms to control the HDR processing/conversion/transfer on a frame basis
Our client is looking for you to have experience and skills in:
- Good knowledge of HDR video signal processing, coding and various color spaces
- Design and evaluate algorithms using Matlab and Python
- Scripting E/E++
Experience with these skills are preferred:
- A background in the technical field of TV, Video broadcasting
- Good communication skills
- Willing to travel.
