Information Analyst/Statistician- NHS- Contract- Outside IR35
We are looking for a first-class Information Analyst/Statistician for an initial 6-month contract to conduct linkage and analysis of the NHS and clinical outcomes data from various services (eg emergency departments) and predictive modelling work to support improved clinical triage. This will also involve supporting the development and implementation of the Data Insights service.
Based in South East London (SE1) offering £415 per day.
You will work withData work-stream will include information and business analysts, technical architects with the input from other specialists across the programme team and wider organisation.
As part of the wider Urgent and Emergency Care Strategy CTP programme is looking at improving clinical decision support system and using linked data across patient journey to support this process.
Essential skills and experience:
- Advanced knowledge and experience of SAS and SQL
- Coding of analytical algorithms
- Demonstrable experience of working within a fast-paced environment, in an analyst or data scientist role
- Conducting and interpreting complex analysis and reconciling conflicting information to reach a conclusion
- Investigating and resolving data quality issues
- Problem solving in novel areas
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Experience of producing reports and presentations for both specialist and non-technical audiences
- Planning skills and ability to work with conflicting priorities
- Experience of working with health data
- Knowledge and experience of using other analytical tools, eg Power BI
- Experience of data science and programming
