GIS Developer - Brussels, Belgium
Languages: ENGLISH only.
Skills and Experience:
5 years of Front End development experience, including:
- 3 years of experience with HTML, CSS and HTML templating.
- 3 years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and JS frameworks (eg Angular2+, React).
- Knowledge of GIS mapping libraries/APIs (eg OpenLayers, d3, Leaflet).
5 years of experience building Back End applications, including:
- 3 years of experience building Back End applications with Python 3
- 2 years of experience working with XML (XML Schema, XPath)
- 2 years of experience implementing REST APIs.
- Experience deploying and managing Web Servers (eg NGINX)
- Experience with Container Technology: Docker, Compose
- Experience working with Version Control Systems: Git
- Messaging Brokers experience: Apache ActiveMQ, Apache Artemi
- Knowledge of AMQP 1.0 libraries/clients (eg qpid proton)
