Job Description:
WAN Optimization solutions (Riverbed, Silverpeak, Cisco WAAS).
In addition to these skills, candidate must be from IP Networking background with SDN and NFV basics.
Focusing on next generation managed network services with a particular focus on contemporary WAN optimization technologies. You want to be responsible for the development of one or more managed WAN Optimization solutions. This work includes technical design and architecture, commercial aspects as well as communication with a variety of internal and external stakeholders such as IT, Operations, Sales Architects, etc.
Your main responsibilities as a product engineer will involve:
1. Developing products and product enhancement ideas in a holistic context
2. Creation of related designs and architecture documentation
3. Interaction with sales architects and sometimes directly with customers to support key-sales opportunities and elicit need information.

The ideal Principal Product Engineer Candidate:
1) Must have 10+ years of demonstrable hands-on experience as an engineer in IT and Telecommunications.
2) Strong foundation in IP networking ideally Including contemporary SDN architectures and related products
(3) Specialized knowledge and experience with WAN Optimization solutions eg Riverbed, Silver Peak, Cisco WAAS, etc.).
4) Some experience with Network Function Virtualization is a plus.
5) Understanding of business principles and business strategy
6) Highly developed and adaptive communications skills
7) Strong team players
8) Ability to think and evaluate issues holistically and in a context.
9) Use to work self-directed towards agreed outcomes.
10) Willingness to work flexible hours
