Description
We are looking for a Product Safety Engineer for a Product Engine Rolling Stock Project, to be located in Mannheim, Germany.In this role you will be responsible for:
Perform a diversity of activities within the Safety and Reliability
Introduction and support in existing projects
ETCS system integration
Safety analyzes
Fault Tree Analyzes
Preparation of Safety Assessment
Overview of CSM Assessment of Changes
Preparation of Functional report
You are knowledgeable and experienced in the application of safety and reliability assessment techniques (FTA, risk matrix, FME(C)A, etc.);
You have proven experience in the application of relevant software tools (e.g. DOORS, Fault Tree+, etc.).
You are knowledgeable and experienced in the interpretation and application of relevant standards, laws, regulation which may include EN 5012x, MIL-STD-882, IEEE Std 1012, CSM for Risk Assessment, etc.
Background knowledge in any particular engineering area (e.g. brakes, etc.) may be beneficial.
