Description
My Client, a Swiss Global Bank who is currently on an exciting growth curve are seeking a Big Data Engineer with Focus on Automated Monitoring for an initial 6 months with a strong likelihood for extension to be based at their Zurich site.Key responsibilities will include:
- Creating concepts for automated monitoring in close collaboration with multiple teams
- Implement monitoring of complex back-end transformation pipelines and front-end
- Daily batch run implementation
- Generating derived data sets
- Unit, integration and regression testing
- Documentation of design, functionalities, tests
The successful incumbent will possess:
- Should have experience in PySpark and Python, Test Automation, Teamwork in an agile setting, Big data technologies, Data Modelling and Database design, Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) and Rest-APIs
If the candidate possesses experience in Experience with Foundry / Palantir tools, Data Discovery and Data Cleaning, Business Analysis, Business Intelligence, Elastic Search, Spark, Java, SQL, Javascript and HTML, this would be highly advantageous.
